Rotary Club of Nalumunye Heights Showcases Innovation and Strategy to Assistant Governor

The Rotary Club of Nalumunye Heights buzzed with activity as they welcomed Assistant Governor Jimmy Mugerwa for a significant official visit. The event saw a strong turnout, demonstrating the club’s engagement and enthusiasm.

The Doves Buddy Group, led by Jalia, was instrumental in hosting the fellowship. They unveiled the club’s official symbol and introduced the “Heights Pineapple Snack” initiative, a creatively packaged product that garnered considerable attention from the attendees.

Assistant Governor Mugerwa arrived accompanied by a robust delegation of District Officials, adding considerable weight and energy to the occasion. The gathering also included Impact Presidents from neighboring Rotary clubs, including RC Kigo Seven Lakes and RC Kitende Breeze, as well as representatives from RC Nalumunye, the mother club. The Rotaract Club of Nalumunye, led by President Ann, was also present, fostering intergenerational Rotary connections.

Prior to the main fellowship, the club’s Board of Directors convened a meeting. During this session, President Biira Scovia, on behalf of the board, presented AG Mugerwa with a comprehensive Club Progress Report and a detailed 3-Year Strategic Plan. This forward-thinking plan is anchored by clear annual Key Performance Indicators and outlines the club’s vision for sustained growth, enhanced membership engagement, and amplified service impact.

Addressing the gathered Rotarians, AG Jimmy Mugerwa commended the Nalumunye Heights club for its exceptional organization, strategic vision, and innovative drive. He urged members to remain focused on achieving impactful service projects. His remarks also served to officially set the stage for the club’s upcoming Assistant Governor’s Official Visit.

“We thank AG Jimmy for choosing his club – RC Nalumunye Heights – and for coming with such a strong team. His guidance and the team’s presence have prepared us for a greater year of impact,” stated President Biira Scovia, expressing gratitude for the support and direction received.
