Tottenham Hotspur is actively pursuing a double swoop for Manchester City’s attacking talents, Savinho and Omar Marmoush. Sources indicate that discussions between the two Premier League clubs are moving forward, although a definitive deal has yet to be struck.
Brazilian winger Savinho, who joined City in 2024 for £30 million, has seen limited opportunities. Despite his potential, the 22-year-old made only seven Premier League starts last season and is now reportedly open to a move.
Omar Marmoush, a £59 million acquisition from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2025, also faced a challenging spell under Pep Guardiola. The 27-year-old forward managed eight goals in 36 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-26 season, and his future at the Etihad appears uncertain.
Manchester City is expected to seek a significant profit on both players, though their exact valuations remain undisclosed. Tottenham’s manager, Roberto de Zerbi, has already made substantial additions to his midfield this summer, bringing in Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali for a combined £185 million.
However, de Zerbi has emphasized the critical need to bolster his attacking options, particularly after the team’s disappointing 17th-place finish in the Premier League last term, where they scored only 48 goals. The club also retains an interest in Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, but financing deals for all three targets presents a considerable challenge.
Manchester City has been active in the transfer market this summer, offloading several players, including Rodri, Tijjani Reijnders, and James Trafford. Tottenham begins their Premier League campaign against Brentford, while City faces Bournemouth.
