Kasese Electrifies After Mt. Rwenzori Marathon with Tusker Lite Neon Rave

The fifth edition of the Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon concluded not with an end to festivities, but with their exhilarating continuation. As the final runner crossed the finish line, Kasese transformed into a hub of energy for the highly anticipated Tusker Lite Neon Rave.

Thousands of runners, alongside local residents and visitors, traded their race-day exhaustion for dancing shoes and a festive atmosphere. The Neon Rave became the perfect antidote to the day’s endurance and determination, offering a night filled with music, entertainment, and vibrant colours.

More than 8,000 participants competed in the marathon, and an even larger crowd converged for the evening’s celebration, ensuring the excitement of the day carried well into the night. The event successfully blended athletic achievement with a dynamic party scene.

Local Kasese artistes kicked off the entertainment, setting a high standard before Uganda’s prominent entertainers took the stage. Cindy Sanyu captivated the audience with her energetic performance and popular hits, encouraging widespread singing and dancing. Following her, Pallaso continued the momentum, turning the rave into a full-scale concert with his own string of chart-topping songs.

The celebration was further enhanced by a range of beverages from Uganda Breweries, with attendees enjoying Tusker Lite and premium selections like Don Julio as they relaxed after their sporting efforts. Sandra Againe, Tusker Lite Brand Manager, highlighted the rave’s importance, stating, “The Neon Rave has become a signature part of the experience, giving runners, fans and the people of Kasese an opportunity to come together, celebrate and truly own their Lite.”

She added, “This fifth edition was particularly special to see, with thousands of people showing up, bringing incredible energy and making Kasese come alive. From the local talent to our headline acts, the music, the lights and, of course, a cold Tusker Lite in hand, it was a fitting celebration of an incredible day and a milestone fifth edition.”
