Prominent events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, widely recognized as Abitex, has voiced concerns regarding the current marketability of musician Pallaso. According to Abitex, a significant number of promoters are hesitant to invest in Pallaso’s projects because they believe he no longer possesses the substantial fan base required to guarantee a return on investment.
During a recent interview with a local television station, Abitex openly questioned Pallaso’s commercial appeal. He suggested that the artist’s difficulties extend beyond musical performance and are also attributable to what Abitex described as a “lack of discipline.” “Pallaso has no value for money because he doesn’t have fans and discipline. He is struggling because no promoter wants to invest in him,” Abitex stated.
The promoter further advised Pallaso to issue a public apology to fellow artist Alien Skin. Abitex believes Pallaso is still facing repercussions from a prior altercation involving Alien Skin’s residence. This incident, which reportedly occurred last year, has continued to impact Pallaso’s standing, according to the promoter.
Abitex’s remarks are expected to intensify discussions surrounding Pallaso’s position within the Ugandan music scene, particularly concerning his ability to draw crowds and secure significant investment for concerts and other ventures.
