Sexual Harassment Persists Despite Protections in Uganda

Sexual harassment in Uganda is an ‘open secret,’ a pervasive problem that continues to plague workplaces and public spaces despite a robust legal framework designed to combat it. While laws, institutional policies, and public declarations aim to protect individuals, the reality on the ground reveals a persistent struggle for victims seeking redress.
