Karole Kasita Recounts Healing Journey After "Power Within" Concert Backlash

Ugandan dancehall sensation Karole Kasita has shared the profound emotional impact of the criticism she faced after her “Power Within” concert held at Serena Hotel. Despite a successful turnout, the aftermath proved challenging, with the singer enduring harsh feedback regarding her performance and dealing with the disappointment of some collaborators not appearing as planned.

Kasita further recounted accusations from fans claiming they were deceived, which intensified the pressure she was under. “My concert left me so traumatized because people said a lot of harsh things to me about my concert. Sometimes I would even wake up in the middle of the night randomly because I heard voices. Everyone was saying whatever they wanted to say,” she disclosed.

The singer explained that the intense experience compelled her to seek solace away from the immediate environment. A trip to Paris served as a crucial period for her to process the events, clear her head, and begin the healing process.

Having returned to Uganda recently, Kasita expressed that her time in Paris allowed her to recuperate and recharge. “But thank God I walked through that. My vacation helped me to heal completely from whatever was going on around me. Now I’m here fresh,” she stated.

With this difficult chapter behind her, Karole Kasita is now eager to reconnect with her fanbase and focus on future endeavors, having overcome the trauma associated with her concert experience.
