Linglong Tyres, in partnership with Mandela Group and City Tyres, has initiated its first-ever dealer football tournament, bringing together nine teams representing external Linglong tyre dealers. This move follows a successful customer promotion that awarded an electric vehicle to Rogers Kizza, who had purchased Linglong tyres.

The tournament, held at the Mandela Sports Arena, is designed to extend the relationship between Linglong Tyres, City Tyres, and their dealers beyond commercial transactions. The competition aims to build camaraderie and strengthen partnerships through a shared sporting activity.

This initiative aligns with Mandela Group’s broader strategy of utilizing sports for customer and partner engagement. The group has a history of supporting various sporting disciplines and events, including motorsport, chess, basketball, football, and badminton, demonstrating a commitment to connecting with the community through athletic endeavors.

While the electric vehicle promotion continues to offer exciting prizes to customers who purchase qualifying Linglong tyres, the dealer tournament provides a distinct platform for business partners. Linglong Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa, Tina Wang, emphasized the company’s dedication to improving products and services while valuing customer support in Uganda.

The inaugural tournament is intended to become an annual event, fostering a tradition of competition and connection among Linglong’s dealer network, proving that the “road to the customer can sometimes lead to the pitch.”
