SC Rwizi Crowned Chaapa League Season 11 Champions in Guinness-Sponsored Finale

SC Rwizi emerged victorious in the thrilling Season 11 finale of the Guinness-powered Chaapa League, securing the championship trophy after a tense 1-0 victory over CF BURDIZO in Mbarara.

The decisive moment came courtesy of Salim, whose solitary goal was enough to separate the two evenly matched teams and crown Rwizi as champions.

SC Rwizi’s path to glory included a strong quarter-final performance, where they defeated Dingiswayo 2-0 with goals from Atamba and Kante. They continued their momentum in the semi-finals, overcoming Chogm 2-0 thanks to strikes from Salim and Atamba, setting up the final showdown.

CF BURDIZO also showcased their determination throughout the tournament. They advanced to the semi-finals with a 1-0 win against Rugabo, Rembo finding the net. Their semi-final match saw them defeat Bulls Old Timers 2-0, with Rembo scoring again before Kluivert added a second.

The final itself was a testament to the competitive spirit of the league, with both teams battling intensely. Ultimately, SC Rwizi’s single goal proved to be the difference.
