Difee Abdallah Pledges Support for Omumanyi wa Salam TV Eastern Finals

Difee Abdallah, a prominent figure in Sironko Town Council as NRM Chairman and Director of Difee Transporters Company, has announced his sponsorship for the Omumanyi wa Salam TV Eastern Region Finals. This significant cultural and developmental event is scheduled to take place on October 3, 2026, at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) main campus in Mbale.

Abdallah revealed his support after a meeting with Salam TV’s Managing Director, Hajji Karim Kaliisa, and his delegation in Mbale. He lauded the “Omumanyi wa Salam TV” initiative, characterizing it as an educational program designed to foster positive change and personal growth.

“I urge the youth to work hard, be trustworthy, and give charity as a way of giving back to God. We should always give what we like most; Allah will always replace it in multiples,” Abdallah stated, encouraging community involvement and generosity.

Hajji Karim Kaliisa highlighted the program’s objective to empower communities nationwide through sensitization and awareness campaigns. The initiative aims to demonstrate that individuals possess the inherent capacity for self-development without relying on external aid. He also mentioned the attractive prizes for winners and participants, including vehicles, motorcycles, and Hajj/Umrah trips, made possible by sponsors and partners.
