UBF President Willing to Organize Prima-Zahara Boxing Rematch

The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) President, Moses Muhangi, has announced his willingness to facilitate a rematch between Prima Kadarshi and Zahara Totto, following their recent boxing match.
The initial fight, held at Nakivubo Stadium, saw Prima Kadarshi emerge victorious. However, Zahara Totto contested the results, alleging biased judging in favor of her opponent and subsequently calling for a second bout.
Speaking in a recent interview, Muhangi clarified that while the UBF is prepared to organize the rematch, neither fighter has yet submitted a formal request to the federation. He emphasized that the UBF’s commitment to staging the fight is contingent upon mutual agreement and a formal application from both Prima and Zahara.
“No one has come to ask for a rematch yet, but if they want it, we can prepare for it. I am ready for it any day, anytime,” Muhangi stated, indicating the federation’s open door policy for such events.
For the time being, the potential for a rematch rests entirely on the fighters themselves. A formal request and a consensus between Prima Kadarshi and Zahara Totto are necessary steps before the UBF can proceed with organizing the event.
