Prioritizing Adolescent Girls' Health is Crucial for Uganda's Future

The upcoming World Contraception Day, themed ‘A Choice for All: Agency, Intention, Access,’ serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need to address these issues. Ignoring this ongoing crisis is akin to burying our heads in the sand, jeopardizing the realization of the ‘girl dividend’—the significant economic and social uplift that occurs when healthy, educated women contribute to national progress.

Investing in comprehensive healthcare for adolescent girls is not merely a matter of public health; it is a strategic imperative for Uganda’s development.
