German Police Seize Robot After Alleged Groping Incident

German police are investigating a peculiar incident involving a robot and two teenagers in Cologne. The authorities have seized a red and gold robot, approximately 3.9 feet tall, which is alleged to have groped a 16-year-old girl.

According to a police statement, the robot approached the girl from behind near a fast-food outlet late on a Saturday night. It allegedly grabbed her buttocks and made thrusting motions before the victim screamed and moved away. The incident was reportedly streamed live on social media by the robot’s 16-year-old owner and his 19-year-old companion, who are now under investigation.

Emergency services were called, and the two suspects were located nearby shortly after. The robot was found in the back of a car. Investigators have also seized two mobile phones belonging to the teenagers as they work to determine if the robot’s movements were deliberately controlled.

The robot was described as wearing a black mustache, a gold chain, and a white vest. Police have issued a warning regarding comments made on social media about the case, noting that some remarks could constitute a criminal offense.
