Salongo Sirajje Eyes Kololo for December 4th Concert, Rivalry with Chameleone Looms

Ugandan entertainer Salongo Sirajje has revealed plans for a major concert at the prestigious Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. The proposed event is slated for December 4, 2026, a date that could lead to a direct clash with another significant music event.

Sirajje recently held a successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, which he described as a triumph despite some public commentary. He stated during a TikTok Live session that the positive reception from his fans has prompted him to organize another celebration.

“My fans have asked for another [event] at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. I am going to celebrate with them on December 4,” Sirajje announced. He indicated that he has initiated contact with the management of Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to finalize arrangements for the venue.

This announcement sets the stage for a potential showdown as Jose Chameleone, a prominent figure in the Ugandan music scene, has also scheduled his concert for the same date, December 4, 2026, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. Fans may face a difficult choice between two high-profile entertainment offerings.

It is important to note that while Sirajje has announced his intentions and is in talks with Kololo’s management, the venue has not yet been officially confirmed for his concert. Negotiations are reportedly still in progress.
