Band musician Chris Evans has publicly urged fellow artist Jose Chameleone to postpone his planned concert. Evans argues that he secured the December 4th date first and is concerned about the potential clash with Chameleone’s event.
Evans’ concert is slated for the Front Page Hotel, while Chameleone’s is scheduled for the Lugogo Cricket Oval on the very same evening. The “Mwerabire” singer expressed apprehension about directly competing with Chameleone, acknowledging his significant musical impact.
“I am afraid because Chameleone is very powerful musically, but I booked first,” Evans stated. He further appealed, “I ask him to postpone his event and allow me to go ahead with my concert as scheduled. He should not sabotage my concert; I announced first.”
Chris Evans is adamant that his show should proceed as planned and is hoping Chameleone will consider moving his date as a gesture of goodwill. The simultaneous scheduling of these two major concerts presents a dilemma for fans, who may have to choose between attending one or the other.
