Sheenah Ndamiya, also known as Namara, has formally petitioned the Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s Court to have her bail reinstated. Ndamiya is currently facing serious charges of electronic fraud involving Shs326.9 million.

Her previous bail was revoked by the court after the prosecution closed its case and she was officially placed on her defense. According to court proceedings, the initial cancellation followed allegations that she had attempted to improperly influence the outcome of her ongoing trial.

During her recent court appearance before Senior Principal Magistrate Winnie Nankya Jatiko, defense lawyers awaited the formal response from the prosecution regarding the new application for bail reinstatement. The legal teams are set to battle out the application as the trial progresses toward its critical stages.
