The Buganda Road Court has issued an order directing the police to apprehend city dentist Dr. Lule Ntwatwa and bring him before the bench to hear his verdict. The directive follows his failure to appear in court as scheduled on October 22, 2026.

Dr. Ntwatwa had previously been released on bail while undergoing trial for charges related to forgery and uttering a false document. The legal proceedings center on a contested land dispute regarding the ownership of a kibanja located in the Katanga Valley near Wandegeya.

Chief Magistrate Winnie Nankya Jatiko issued the warrant after the accused skipped the court session where the final judgment was set to be delivered. The case is part of broader land tensions in the area involving property disputes.

Authorities have now been tasked with tracking down the dentist so that the judicial process can reach its conclusion. Read more details about the case in the Daily Monitor.
