Royal Giant High School in Mityana District recently marked its silver jubilee, celebrating 25 years of expanding educational opportunities and shaping young minds in Uganda.

During the milestone celebrations, Buganda Kingdom and government officials commended school founder Benon Ntambi for his visionary investment in the education sector. Robert Wagwa Nsibirwa, the Buganda Kingdom’s Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, applauded Ntambi for establishing institutions that support community development and complement government efforts.

Minister Nsibirwa emphasized that private sector investment remains crucial in broadening access to quality learning. Echoing these sentiments, the Commissioner for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Sports, Juliet Muzoora Atuhaire—representing Minister J.C. Muyingo—praised the institution for generating employment and maintaining a supportive academic environment.

Local leaders, including Ssingo County Chief Deo Kagimu, also recognized the school’s impact on local academic standards and urged management to continue preparing students for future challenges.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Kabuye Kyofatogabye used the platform to address parents. He urged them to cultivate peaceful households, warning that domestic conflicts can severely hinder a child’s holistic growth and academic journey.

In his closing remarks, founder Benon Ntambi expressed deep gratitude to God, parents, teachers, and stakeholders for supporting the institution through various challenges over the past quarter-century. He reaffirmed his dedication to further strengthening the school and opening up more academic pathways for future generations.
