The legal battle surrounding the administration of two family estates involving Mpigi High Court Judge Deepa Verma has experienced a fresh delay.

Proceedings were stalled after the case file was reportedly called for by the Principal Judge, preventing a scheduled court session from moving forward.

Previously, the involved parties appeared before High Court Family Division Deputy Registrar Samuel Olumo. The session was intended for summons for directions, which is a critical procedural stage where the court outlines how the matter will proceed.

With the Principal Judge pulling the file, the scheduled directions have been put on hold, awaiting further instructions from the judiciary leadership.
