The MTN Kampala Marathon was held on the 05.Dec.2010 with the starting and finishing point at Kololo Airstrip. Over 25,000 athletes registered to participate in the event that is held annually.

The MTN Kampala Marathon had the full marathon that was 42.2kms with red numbers, half marathon that was 21kms, blue numbers and the road race which is better known as "Bonna Baduuke" of10kms whose race numbers were black.

The theme for this year was "Thinking About you." Proceeds from the event have been used to bail out expectant mothers in the eastern and Northern parts of Uganda. MTN Uganda started its operations in Uganda 16 years back and for the last 8 years, the Marathon has been held and it is the biggest sports event in the country at the moment.
