The latest update which is update No.9 from the Chairman Electoral Commission has been released and they reflect a drop of 1% for Mr. Museveni who has maintained the lead from the time moment the EC started releasing provisional results.

  • Yoweri Museveni - 5,026,574 (67.99%)
  • Kizza Besigye - 1,942,617 (26.28%)
  • Norbert Mao - 143,809 (1.95%)
  • Olara Otunnu - 118,964 (1.61%)
  • Abed Bwanika - 48,172 (0.65%)
  • Jaberi Bidandi Ssali - 32,448 (0.44%)
  • Samuel Lubega - 30,416 (0.41%)

FDC President and IPC flag bearer moved up by 1% in the latest update that was announced on Sunday morning. He addressed a press conference at Najjanankumbi yesterday.

Meanwhile, we are almost there as we have less than 1,791 polling stations and there after they will declare the winner. The current goverment will end on May 12 as the new President will be sworn in.

By law, the winner will be declared today according the Deputy Chairman Electoral Commission David Biribonwa.
