Museveni has got a fourth term starting May 2011-2016
The counting process is done and at the end of it all the incumbent has been declared the winner of the presidential elections that were held on the 18.Feb.2011 was announced by Eng. Badru Kiggundu at 4:31pm (EAT)

  • Abed Bwanika 51,708 (0.65)
  • Kizza Besigye 2,064,963 (26.01%)
  •  Betty Kamya 52,782 (0.66%,
  • Jaberi Bidandi Ssali 34,688 (0.44%),
  • Mao Nobert 147 ,917 (1.86%)
  • Olara Otunnu 125,059 (1.58%)
  • Samuel Lubega 32,726 (0.14%),
  • Yoweri Kaguta Museveni 5,428,369 (68.4%)

The above figures are from 23,851 polling stations out of 23,968 polling stations. The chairman said that in a week's time, the rest of the votes would have been included on the final figure.

The army spokesperson, Lt. Felix Kulaigye has assured the nation that the country is calm and that the army is giving a helping hand to the police to ensure that the peace that has been exhibited during and after the polls continues.
