Opposition politicians are angry with the way police roughly bundled them onto pick ups. The opposition leader Kizza Besigye accused the police for their unprofessional conduct. The opposition MPs intend to resume with the Walk to Pray, Walk to Work arrangement this Thursday. Hon. Odonga Otto who was one of the opposition MPs that walked to work yesterday did not rule out a hunger strike if the police continued treating them like the way Besigye was bundled onto the pick up. DP's Nobert Mao also intends to to file a civil suit for unlawful detention. Having tested the tear gas, he is now demanding an evaluation of the tear gas claiming that it is poisonous. Kitgum woman MP Beatrice Anwar also walked her 20kms successfully but she is now paying a high price with the blisters and general body aches that she sustained after using wrong shoes to walk. Most of them spent their Tuesday briefing the press about their walk-to-work experiences and how they intend to walk to church on Thursday.
