Miss Uganda 2011-2012 Is On

The Miss Uganda Pageant is back and this time not under Solaya Zalwango or Joyce Church but Brenda Nanyonjo the 7/11 bomb survivor, a contract she got after interacting with the Miss World officials in the UK while on treatment for her head injuries she sustained the during the Kampala bomb blast.

The company that got the franchise is Kezi Entertainment. The pre-selection of the 20 girls was held today (3 Aug) at Club Silk. The girls will be undergoing a three weeks intensive training plus other related activities at the booty camp.

The Grand Finale to select the winner will be held on the 10 Sep 2011 at Golf Course Kampala. Miss Uganda 2011-2012 is sponsored by Red Pepper, Club Silk, Blucube, WBS TV, Capital FM, Ndere Troupe and Mirinda.

Sylvia Namugenyi is Miss Uganda 2011-2012 - All roads were leading to the Golf Course Hotel on September 10, 2011 for the Miss Uganda beauty contest in which the 23 year old Sylvia Namugenyi who admires the German Chancellor Angela Merkel emerged the winner beating 18 other beauties.
