Accessing the city centre was a nightamare on Monday morning after the roads leading to the Uganda High Court were blocked. The trial for the 19 terror suspects for the Kampala Twin bombs started a day after America had been commemorating the tenth anniversary of the WTC Twin Tower bombings.

The 19 suspects are charged with 76 counts of murder. Journalists from the International media were allowed to attend the court sessions together with representatives from the local media, New Vision and Monitor.

Police dogs, Mamba's and heavy deployment plus slow flowing traffic were the order of Monday morning. Buildings around the High Court like Rwenzori Courts were heavily guarded.

Shell Petrol Station that is right opposite the High Court had one side of the entrance blocked so vehicles fueling from the petrol station had to use one way for both entry and exit impacting heavily on the traffic flow that had been made worse by the blocked roads.
