He was Michael Jackson's doctor being paid USD150,000 per month just to take care of the pop star but at the time of his death, Conrad Murray was not in the room.
During the trial, prosecutors noted that Conrad Murray was an incompetent doctor who abandoned his medical judgement in complying with Jackson's request to be given a surgical anesthetic to put him to sleep.
Assuming Conrad Murray was acquitted, his medical licence could have been suspended anyway. Outside the court room in Los Angeles, Michael Jackson fans were seen jubilating after it turned out that Conrad Murray was guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
He was denied bail because he is a risk to the public and could try to flee. He has been remanded until the 29.Nov.2011 when he will be sentenced. Before being whisked away, Dr. Conrad Murray was seen whispering to his lawyer.
