Flex and Mable on their wedding day

The President of the Uganda North American Association (UNAA) Atlanta Chapter, Flex Kabuye Kayanja also a brother to Brig. Elly Kayanja tied the knot with Mable on Friday at Namirembe Cathedral.

The couple was wedded by Bishop Dr. Samuel Kazimba during the 10 o'clock service under very tight security as according to snoops that graced the service.

Mable commonly known as Aida jetted into the country on Sunday aboard a British Airways flight and on Wednesday was the stag party which left all the patrons crawling back home in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

Aida came in with some one specifically for her make-up. All the changing clothes and hats were special orders from designer outlets in the UK and US, the closest she found in Kampala of the items she came with was a hat at Lady Charlotte boutique at Centenary Park.

Hummers, Limousines, several bikes that led the way and a vintage car were part of the convoy that left Namirembe church for a cocktail at Serena Hotel. They later paralysed traffic in Kampala as the convoy made it's way to Munyonyo where they have been staying together with other friends from the UK and the US.

The couple will rest on Saturday before travelling to Rakai by helicopter for another reception. Rakai is Kabuye's home village. Lady Sylvia Nagginda was among those who graced the wedding estimated to cost way above a billion shillings.
