Patience Kirabo now wants Shs 500m as compensation

Barbara Patience Kirabo is the lady whose photograph appeared in the Bukedde paper early in the week under the news item ''Wunno azaala Omulangira Ssemakookiro" and was widely advertised on Agataliiko Nfuufu commercial breaks on Bukedde TV.

The news item was letting the public know of the mother to the new born prince Richard Ssemakookiro who was born six months back. When the Buganda Kingdom broke the news of the prince, they were tight lipped on who the mother was.

The New Vision newspaper together with the Luganda version Bukedde run a photo of Barbara as Richard Ssemakookiro's mother.

Now Barbara together with her lawyer and husband appeared for a press conference this morning donning everything that she was putting on at the time the photograph was taken. She has denied having any relationship with the king of Buganda Ronald Mwenda Mutebi.

Barbara now wants an apology and a compensation of Shs500m. Her spouse was in advanced stages of their introduction ceremony that is slated for March 2012, but has now put all those plans on hold.

On January 17, The Buganda prime minister JB Walusimbi made the announcements of how the Kabaka had fathered a son but did not reveal the identity of the mother.
