Artiste Sophie Gombya also wife to fellow musician Sam Gombya is admitted at Namirembe hospital after taking stuff that is perceived to be poison. Sophie Gombya and four other friends were at Red Nite Pub at Bat Valley on Thursday night.

They left the pub at about 2:00am and were driven to their respective homes but in the end, they left complaining of severe pain in the legs.

Sophie is still in a critical condition at St Albert Cook, Namirembe Hospital. She was trying to talk but you could see that she was in a lot of pain. Sam Gombya says that he is not aware of the actual place they got whatever caused them those complications.

Just recently, Geoffrey Mukisa, an ex lover to former Rubaga South MP Suzan Nampijja died as a result of taking poison.
