DSTV Customers using the old Phillips smart cards were yesterday sent messages on their decoders letting them know that the cards will expire in a week's time. Customers are to carry their decoders and smart cards to the nearest Multichoice branch or agency to have the card swoped for free.
Once the seven days elapse, the service will be disabled and restoring it will require $20 so you need to do this real fast at least to avoid that bit of frustration. Meanwhile, customers on Compact and Access packages will have a price increment of $2 effective April 01, 2012.
This coming Saturday at Forest Mall between 9:00am and 6:00pm, Multichoice Uganda has arranged the 'Greatest Show on Earth' where they will be displaying the latest in digital entertainment and also fixing the decoders to be compatible with the smart cards. There will be lots pf prizes to be won in the raffle draw.
