Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi has taken to Youtube to correct what government is terming as a false impression of the 30 minutes Kony 2012 video which now has 82,901,269 views in just one week.
The Prime Minister in a 9 minute video which is now live on Youtube said: "Uganda is not in conflict. Uganda is a modern developing country which enjoys peace, stability and security." The Kony 2012 video did not represent the current situation in the East African nation.
Meanwhile, the video which was directed by Jason Rusell the co-founder of a charity organisation Invisible Children has been condemned by women activists claiming that it ultimately propagates war as the only means to solve conflict.
As opposed to earlier reports of Jason Russel being arrested, he is actually not been arrested but been put on 5150 psychiatric hold after he was seen running on the streets of San Diego shouting about the devil and 'F' words to no one in particular.
