The Court of Appeal has thrown out Singh Katongole from Parliament after he lost the case in which he was challenging the high court's ruling that declared Moses Kasibante the rightfully elected Member of Parliament for Rubaga North.

Now that the ruling is in favour of Moses Kasibante, he becomes the MP for Rubaga North. Last year, Singh fainted on learning that Kasibante had won him but later, it was agreed that the votes be recounted and that is how Singh emerged the winner.

The former journalist rushed to court and in the end, it turns out that he is reclaiming what belonged to him. The Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago was in court to morally support him. Kasibante's supporters lifted him around the court premises in celebration of the development.
