Veteran singer Halima Namakula's Ndimuzadde Concert was a flop
It's not new that veteran singer Halima Namakula organised concerts have flopped in the past though these were for international stars like KCI and Jojo, MS Trinity among others. The Ekimbeewo star decided to stage her own concert dubbed 'Ndimuzadde Concert' last Friday at Club Obligatto.

To her surprise, the well advertised concert had empty seats with close to 20 revellers three hours from the time the show was to kick off. At 10pm,  the time being proposed by the KCCA Executive Director Jenipher Musisi that all night concerts should end is when the Afrigo band started entertaining the few guests. It's at this point that they were told to take up the seats that had been reserved for the VIP's.

Artistes like Mega Dee, Jamal Waswa, Sophie Gombya, Angella Katatumba and Annette Nandujja performed at this concert that was dedicated to Fistula infected women in Uganda.

At midnight, the veteran singer hit the stage walking like she did on the catwalk during the Mrs World pageant in 2010. She played songs like 'Africa Yetu', 'Ekyoyoyo' and 'Ndimuzadde' among others.

She used the event to launch her magazine 'Women at Work' that was auctioned at over Shs4m.
