Cindy who is ready to fly back to Uganda tomorrow is very bitter that it was actually a Ugandan who did this.
"I wish the promoter who paid me was an Indian, I wouldn't be so mad but its actually a Ugandan guy who did this. It hurts more when its someone from home, there is no way I would expect a fellow Ugandan to do this to me." Cindy wrote on her wall.
There is always the first time though Cindy would have borrowed a leaf from Jamaican dance-hall star Elephant Man who came to Uganda last December but before hitting the stage, he demanded that his balance be paid.
The promoters failed to raise the money and that was it. He did not go to the advertised venue at all, instead he was just at a meet and greet party at one of the clubs, wined, dined, kissed babes before leaving the country.
NTV had a Trickstar show which used to highlight most of those tricks that conmen (Abafeere) normally use but now they stopped.
