Uganda's Tusker Project Fame 4 Winner Davis Hillary Ntare who recently cut off his dreads and now donning a new look has been signed to Universal Music Group (UMG) a multinational music company.
Davis King who last performed during the Tusker Project Fame season 5 Grand finale told close pals that he had been signed to one of the biggest record label. Its however not clear which one now that it has labels in the US and a number of them outside US.
"I have just signed with Universal Music Group. Now I'm rolling with the best names in the world's Music Industry. I'm so excited, thanks all for your prayers." Davis wrote on his wall.
In a related development, Rwanda's Jackson Kalimba who took the third position in the recently concluded TPF5 has equally been signed to UMG. Jackson was one of those promising contestants in the Academy that even judge Ian Mbugua was surprised he had lost.
