The news of Julius Kyazze the Managing Director of Swangz Avenue being arrested was spreading like wildfire but hours later, Julius has come out to say that: "Please don't believe the smear campaign that I have been arrested, I'm free"
During the requiem mass at Christ the King Church in Kampala, Julius of Swangz Avenue is the one who told mourners how Sera had died after a sharp pain in her tummy as they left Masaka for Kampala.
Sera's Mom Elizabeth Wolwa revealed to mourners how her daughter loved Julius so much to the extent that no day could pass without Sera telling her of how she loved Julius.
Sera who died at the age of 22 was spotted by Swangz Avenue at a tender age of 19 and they signed her to the label having realised her potential. They did whatever they could to ensure that the talented singer does not fall a victim of exploiters in the industry now that she was young.
Reports had started circulating that the postmortem that was released had been doctored, others saying that there was no way the singer would have died of a peptic ulcer, it must have been poison. This forced Swangz Avenue to come up with a statement on the matter.
Part of the message from Swangz Avenue states that: "Losing a young great talent has been so hard for us to accept but even harder to accept are the continued wrong reports surrounding the events leading to her death."
"In the meantime, we want to kindly ask some sections of the public to respect the feelings of the people who worked with Sera at Swangz, her friends and her family."
Sera's parents acknowledged the fact that their daughter was gone but were not convinced with the way she died and appealed to the police to do their part.
