Fashionista Sylvia Owori is bound to lose her Bulago Island after a Sudanese investor pulled out of the deal.
Sylvia was on the verge of completing a members only club called Black Diamond with about 6kms of exclusive white sand, zebras and antelopes but all this could be gone in two weeks after failing to service a loan.
The fashionista sums it up in few words: "Its better to make an honest mistake than a dishonest fortune". I'm down but not out. At least I won't be fired from my job, I'm my own boss in life and at work.
This comes at the time when her African Woman Magazine collapsed, and her toyboy Malik is battling with theft charges. City bailiffs are now auctioning the island at a give away price after Sylvia failed to sell it at Shs300m.
Like she says that she is down but not out, many are wondering how the number one glamour gal can pull out of the financial meltdown.
