The 'Tulikubukenke' singer also a member of the Eagle's Production band might not be so much in the news except for the 2007 PAM Awards win, marrying a hot babe and now the hotel. The down to earth singer drives the latest series of a Toyota Noah.
Surprisingly, the hotel has a website though not optmized. This should be an eye opener to other artistes and certainly a perfect example for others to emulate. Construction of a commercial entity like the one above can be a good alternative to music.
Artistes are busy coming up with alternative economic projects like One Love Beach for Bobi Wine, Halima Namakula has an NGO helping women with FISTULA and Desire Luzinda who recently turned 25 has a school shuttle to supplement her earnings when not doing music gigs.
Music is so competitive these days with all sorts of genres, meanings to lyrics can't easily be understood and when you do, you simply shudder leaving us wondering where Uganda music will be thirty years from now.
