Diva Iryn Namubiru still can't believe that the man who fell in love with her after hearing her sing in an open-mic bar way back in 1998 and the father to her two sons Eko and Al just grabbed her by the neck a week back.
Iryn who sustained a deep wound on her neck as though it was a scratch from a stray cat plus other swellings on her cheek and lower ear said that: "Just two fingers in the throat can kill."
The couple broke up over four years back and have since then been fighting over their children's custody. It has since been established that its Frank who has the custody of the kids and Iryn is supposed to check on them at certain intervals.
This particular fight was sparked by the fact that Iryn went with the kids on holiday without informing her ex husband so when they came back, Iryn was informing him of their coming back so he could take the kids with him but instead descended on her and thumped her to near death while at a train station in Paris.
The 'Begombeko' star has now been discharged and recuperating from the wounds but most importantly the shock. Iryn has also filed a case of violence in Paris over the latest beating and she says:
"All victims of physical and psychological violence, stand out and speak out, don't worry about people's opinions and mockery, there's time enough to establish the truth. Just protect yourselves and children if you have any."
