Season eight of Africa's biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Africa (BBA) will start showing on channel 197 and 198 on 26-May-2013, according to a statement from M-Net Africa. Uganda is among the participating countries except Liberia that has been replaced by Ethiopia.

If you are above 21, got a valid passport or you can get one by March 2013, you could go ahead to fill the form online (www.africamagic.tv/bigbrother) or pick up the forms at M-net offices starting 01-Feb-2013.

You must be fluent in English, entertaining and passionate about the Big Brother experience. This time round, the producers are concerned about the tolerance, enthusiasm and determination.

The winner will walk away with USD300,000 (Approximately Shs798,000,000) after 91 days in the Big Brother house with cameras in all corners. The show will be watched in 40 African countries.

Other countries participating in the Big Brother Africa include: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In Uganda, the fans are already excited and have started speculating on the names of those they think should represent the country. Some of the names include: Zari, Navio, Golola and Straka combined, Juliana Kanyomozi, Natasha Sinayobye and Bad Black had it not been for the arrest warrant.
