Ex Big Brother Housemate Goldie Harvey Dead

It was a sad Valentine's day ending for Big Brother Africa fans across the continent when they learnt that Nigerian singer Goldie Harvey was dead following a short illness. Prezzo's Lover suffered a brief illness at Reddington Hospital in Lagos. She died last night in the hands of her close friend Derenle Edun. The former Big Brother contestant is suspected of having died of Pneumonia.

Susan Oluwabimpe(28) going by her stage name Goldie doubled as a musician and designer. They hooked up with Kenya's rapper Prezzo in the previous Big Brother house and at the time of her death, wedding plans were underway. The singer was part of the seven celebrities in the seventh version of the Big Brother star game.

The Nigerian singer had just returned to Lagos after attending the Grammys. Last December, Goldie was in Uganda to launch her collabo with our very own Navio. Goldie's official twitter account is now being run by her admin and this is the latest posting:

"..Please accept what has happened and just pray for her soul, in death we are all equal no matter our beef."

In two weeks time, Goldie and her close friend were to launch their reality show 'Tru Friendship' but all this has been hit with a blow. Meanwhile, the news of Goldie's passing on affected Mampi who was by then winding up with her Valentine's show at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
