On Valentine's day, revellers had filled up the people's space by 7:00pm. Performances kicked off shortly after from various artistes that included Iryn Namubiru, members of the Eagles Production among others.
A few minutes to eleven, Bebe Cool hit the stage doing Akamwako with the help of the Gagamel crew members. Mampi's UB5 Band took up the stage to pave way for the Swililili star.
Mampi hit the stage at about 11:00pm clad in a tight short dress which attracted the front row men to get a glimpse of what was under prompting her to perform her Luganda composition, 'Otunulaki' loosely translated as; What are you looking at?
Mampi then did quite a number of her Zambian songs which were not known to Ugandans but her portable queen dancers were every minute worth watching as Mampi changed costumes.
Mampi returned in hot pants that could allow her do the Mampi Dance. It's when she performed the famous 'Swililili' song that revellers who were clad in red and black, celebrating Valentines day joined her.
The show then swtiched to 'Why' a version with Bobi Wine which sent the crowd wild. Bobi Wine joined her to do the remix version. Mampi jumped onto Bobi who had just enough stamina as Bobi looked her in the eyes saying: ''Ndi Muna Masaka Oli Muna Lusaka....Why..!"
Mampi wrapped up the show with 'Walilowelela'. Revellers were seen walking back happy after getting their monies worth. Mampi assured her fans who were linkingher thrilling performance to ganja that, that wasn't ganja it was the Zambian skill at work.
Mampi's next stop on her African tour is Mauritius on 02-Mar-2013.
