Roger Mugisha speaks out on the Pioneer Easy Bus Debt
KFM's Roger Mugisha has spoken out on the URA-Pioneer debt and the Shs5m Government intends to give MPs to consult with their constituencies on the Marriage & Divorce bill.

"I hate politricks.! Pioneer Easy bus had finally 'checked' the abuse of UTODA's monopoly helped the common man travel cheaply and helped decongest the city of these omnibuses. Why can't the govt intervene to rescue such a worthwhile public service.

Does any politician really care about the common man? If we can pay Basajja 142bn, pay compensation law suit of 13bn, can't we really give the bus company a tax holiday like we give foreign investors? Now all the taxi fares have shot up again and the taxi drivers are more arrogant..", Roger wrote on his wall.

The city MC hinted also on the shs5m that is to be given to MPs to go to their respective constituencies to consult on the Marriage and Divorce bill. It's not the first time that Roger Mugisha is crying out on some of these pertinent issues. Last year, he resigned his job after it turned out that MPs were to get cars valued at Shs103m, but he later changed his mind after many of his fans pleaded with him to do so.

He wondered if they were no cars of Shs20m in the bonds that they had to opt for the over 100m cars. Meanwhile, UTODA has expressed willingness to acquire the 99 Pioneer Easy Buses that are being auctioned to recover the Shs8bn tax arrears and if all goes well, they could start operations in next month.
