DJ Momo Dies from India
One of Uganda's most respected DJs, Momo Nsereko has died in India. DJ Momo, real name Moses Nsereko has been battling with Gallstones, which are lumps in the gall bladder. He had an operation here but there was need for specialized treatment in India.

Momo has been linked to top night clubs like Guvnor, Club Rouge and Mateos among others. The spin master has also been doing some work for Fenon Records. His death is a double tragedy to Fenon Records who had just lost their Stylist, Allison Malacara.

Fellow DJ and friend Apeman was very instrumental in the fundraising part of the Shs24m that was required for his operation in India, but unfortunately, he could not make it.

The DJ died on May 03, and since then tributes have been trickling in on social networks. Below are some of the tributes from Guvnor, where he did most of his deejaying and top female singer, Juliana Kanyomozi.

"Dj MOMO, I jus can't believe you're gone. But I know you are in a better place, no pain, no stress, no tears. Thank you for sharing your great gift with us. With all your success in the business, you always amazed me with your humility. I will miss you dearly. Sleep well my brother." - Juliana

"We are saddened for the untimely loss of our very own DJMOMO that occurred in India where he had gone for further treatment.May his soul RIP." - Guvnor.

"Return of the Ninja season 2.....watch this space...." was his last post on FB on April 18, 2013.
