The Obudde show was massive. By 7:00pm Hotel Africana was full with Ragga Dee, Cindy, Lillian, Navio, GNL and Desire Luzinda among others entertaining revellers before the dynamic duo hit the stage. Kenya's Amani was there to grace the Obudde launch. Myco Ouma did his thing alongside the live band as Comedians, Salvador and Afande Kerekere did their thing. At 11pm, the dynamic duo hit the stage with the duo clad in some yellow and white outfit with a huge clock around Weasel to signal the kick off of the 'Obudde' launch. The fans were literally singing along all songs that included Magnetic, Fantastic, Can't Let you Go, Fitting with Desire Luzinda and Kiboko Changu which are all tracks off their latest Obudde album which was also the launch title organised by Kibo Media. The stage and lighting was provided by Silk Events. Earlier on, the Goodlyfe had told that the Obudde album was special in a way because it was a Victory party in celebration of defeating their competitors that had waged war on them. "We are launching a full album with very good music unlike other singers who launch a single song and call themselves musicians." The Goodlyfe said. They also wondered how one can compare them with artistes who have been around for two decades. In one of their interviews, the Goodlyfe Duo noted that they do not have any competition in Uganda at the moment because Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Chameleone are too old and have nothing new to offer.
