Iryn Namubiru cleared of drug charges, to return on Monday

Diva Iryn Namubiru has been cleared of drug smuggling charges after 21 days of being detained in Japan. "I am out, free, innocent, clean, no criminal record. I will tell you all as soon as I get home on MONDAY, God bless you all." Iryn commented on her wall.

Iryn was arrested early in the month when she went to Japan for a show but on arrival at Narita airport, her luggage was discovered to be having illegal drugs that were given to her by Kim Ueno's relatives in Kampala. Iryn thanked all her fans, friends and family for their prayers.

"Only the truth, prayers and your love could set me free. Iam out innocent and clean, Thank you all." The prayers at All Saints on Wednesday worked after all, the diva is free and ready to rock Kampala like never before. Fans continue to thank her promoter, Balaam Barugahara, and her boss Capt John Kassami of Fusion band Entebbe that were able to meet the costs of the lawyer.

Fans are now planning on a massive welcome for her on Monday. She has also just learnt of Martin Angume's passing and passed on her sincere gratitude to the beareved family.
