Iryn has for the last three weeks been detained in Japan on drug smuggling charges but was set free after 21 days. It's unlikely that Iryn can go back to Japan in the next five years following what happened. Boda Boda riders along Entebbe road and other parts of Kampala joined the convoy doing all sorts of bike stunts. The convoy went straight to Hotel Africana though while there, she declined to talk about what happened during the 21 days in Japan. The 'Tebiba Bingi' singer later referred some people to check her wall for the official communication. In part of the message, she says: "I was never indicted so there was no possible trial and therefore, I never stood before the judge!! In fact there was all evidence that I was innocent." But all this was not convincing to some people forcing her to denounce her earlier plans of not talking about it. Several versions had started cropping up. Announcing the news of Iryn's being on WBS tomorrow at 9am was none other than Straka's ex, Charles Oyimuke. In the message off his wall, he says: "Iryn Namubiru addresses the Nation live about her alleged drug charges tomorrow, Wednesday 29.May.2013 on Morning Flavor Entertainment starting 9:00am."
