The late Sera in one of her performances in Kampala
The memorial service for the RnB singer, who died at the age of 22 last year, was held on Wednesday, July 31, at Christ the King Church with family and friends including Bebe Cool and Capt. Juma Seiko attending.

The clergy thanked all those who had taken off time from their busy schedules to come and pray for Sera's soul. The church was half full. Sera's mom, Wolwa Elizabeth took to the podium at the end of the service thanking all those who have been their for the entire family in the last one year.

She also announced that there will be another memorial mass this Saturday(03 Aug) for the late Sera in Nansana.

The event was attended by nearly the entire Swangz Avenue team that included Benon Mugumbya, Julius Kyazze, Viboyo Oweyo, Vince Musisi and Young Zee. Irene Ntale who is believed to have replaced Sera in the Swangz Avenue label also attended.

Sera died on this day last year as they made their way to Kampala from a funeral in Masaka. She was signed to the Swangz Avenue music label which she joined at a tender age of 19.
