It all started with a tweet from Zari, "Damn taxes hitting me hard in ma butt, revenue guys ain't sparing me. Eish! Ama sort it out as responsible citizen," followed by this: "Am hustling it out today no Eid lunch for me."

The above tweet meant that Zari was having a bad EID day due to tax issues which she promised to sort out pretty soon as a responsible citizen. Some of her followers had to tag URA into the conversation to at least look into her case and open the stores which had been closed.

A response from the official Uganda Revenue Authority twitter handle revealed that they had nothing to do with the operation that was carried out at Zari's stores. "We didn't sanction this operation but since she is alerting us we are going to check in her tax affairs."

Having nothing to do with the taxman, the landlord came into play. The stores must have been closed due to rent arrears, but like the boss lady says, she is going to sort it out.

Meanwhile, this is happening at the time when she is about to launch her latest store in Pretoria and yet, they(entire family) have just come back from the UK, which among others involved football training for her first born who turned 10 yesterday and another boy at the rate of £845 per child, may be rent wasn't top on the agenda...!
