Bebe Cool and Zuena after the race and on right is Chameleone performing

It's that time of the year when streets of Kampala will be painted yellow all in the name of the now popular sport, MTN Marathon.

Kiprotich is a true story with two gold medals (World and Olympic marathons) tagged to his name implying that we now have increased numbers of people trying to emulate the gold medalist.

This Sunday, thousands will be running for water in this years' MTN 2013 Marathon. Bebe Cool is terming this as the last charity event by the Gagamel this year, so, he's calling up all the Gagamel fans to join the race and see him beat thousands to the finishing line.

"All Gagamel fan's n friends let's all register for the MTN Marathon, let's all do our last charity on this. I promise, I Bebe Cool will be among the first one thousand people among the twenty thousand plus participants. Let's run for water, Let's run for our lives."

Meanwhile, Chameleone would have loved to participate but due to his sprained foot, he might only end up performing and cheering the athletes.

This Sunday, an estimated 20,000 athletes will be taking part in the 42, 21 and 10km race. This year, a new route for the half marathon runners has been designed.
