The 8-week show that kicked off on Oct.13 finally came to an end on Sunday, December 8, 2013 with Burundi's only contestant, Hope taking the Kshs.5m and a recording contract with Sony music. Hope beat other finalists that included: Tanzania's Hisia in the fourth position, our very own Daisy Ejang who finished in the third position and then, Kenya's Amos and Josh who finished in the second position. This year, all the finalists came out of the academy with their latest singles fully recorded on both audio and video, but from Hope's sneak peek video, you could tell that it was win material. Yesterday, the dreams of Nyambura becoming a millionaire were shattered when she was evicted alongside with Patrick from Rwanda. Performance at the grand finale had previous winners like Ruth Matete and Davis Hillary Ntare performing plus a host of previous TPF contestants. Earlier, Judge Juliana wrote this on her wall: "We wind up yet another successful season of TPF. Like I said, TPF6 has had some of the finest talent I have seen in TPF history and I'm proud to have been apart of it. As we count down to the finale tonight, I wish all the finalists the best of luck. You all deserve to be there. Thank you East Africa for all the support."
